I’ve had a similar 306K & a 319K before, but both used the shorter needles & I didn’t use them much because of that. (Had other diversions too; ) Then recently I came into possession of a very nice 320K & delved deeper into the ‘Needle Issue’. Now I know how to enable 15×1 Universal needles on these machines I thought a nice early 306K Automatic would make a nice Winter Project.
As seen above it is installed in a Necchi alloy base, which suits it very nicely in my opinion. Originally it came in a Singer fridge style cabinet, pictured on eBay thus. I asked the seller if he would remove the head from the cabinet & ship it & he agreed.
